The list can be sorted by “Name”, “Size”, “Date” or “Type” using the buttons at the top of the list.
You can “Compress” a list using “Shift+Compress” and “Uncompress” a list using “Shift+Uncompress”.
You can create a new list using “Ctrl+” and “Ctrl+Shift+” and the new list is prefixed with the name of the folder you start WinDIZ from.

With this macro you can edit metadata in your files.
Just specify the location and name of the new file_id.txt or file_id.diz or file_id.mp3 file which you want to edit.
You can specify a new file_id by typing it into the text box.
Then WinDIZ will generate a compressed version of the file.
If you want to edit, WinDIZ will open it up in its own viewer (or your default viewer if it is possible) and you can edit and save your changes.
WinDIZ will ask you for a new file name if you are editing a file.
WinDIZ doesn’t edit files that already have a file_id file.
You can create as many file_id.txt or file_id.diz or file_id.mp3 as you want by using the macro.
If you have a file with a file_id.diz file in the root folder of your zip archive, WinDIZ will ask you if you want to merge that files into the archive or if you want to generate a new file_id.diz file by adding it to the root folder.
If you want to generate a new file_id.diz file, you can either use the same name or specify another.
If you want to merge the two files into a new file_id.diz file, you can use the same name or you can specify another.
If you specify a file name for the new file_id.diz file, WinDIZ will use that file name.
WinDIZ does not support to change a file_id.diz into a file_id.txt file.
To see which files are included in a ZIP archive, WinDIZ lets you browse all files in the archive and displays them in a tree view.
But it’s not just a list view, but it also includes detailed information about the files that are included in the archive, such as file_id.txt or.diz file.
You can also find out how many files are included in the archive and how big they are.
